Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) is a private medical school and health sciences university located in Pomona, California. It also has a campus in Lebanon, Oregon. WesternU offers a wide range of academic programs across multiple colleges. The university is dedicated to healthcare and operates patient care facilities in California and Oregon under the name WesternU Health. In addition to its main campus, WesternU opened the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific - Northwest (COMP-Northwest) in Lebanon, Oregon. The university's founding president, Philip Pumerantz, retired in 2015.
