Humboldt State University

California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt (Cal Poly Humboldt or Humboldt) is a public university located in Arcata, California. It is part of the California State University (CSU) system and is situated in the northernmost region of the system. The campus is positioned on a hillside at the edge of a coast redwood forest, providing stunning views of Arcata, Humboldt Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. The university is located in a college town setting on the California North Coast, known for its natural beauty. It is the most westerly four-year university in the contiguous United States and is recognized as a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI). The university consists of three colleges: the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; the College of Natural Resources and Sciences; and the College of Professional Studies. It offers a variety of bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as minors and credential programs. However, Cal Poly Humboldt does not offer doctoral degrees.
