Sciences Po Paris, also known as the Paris Institute of Political Studies, is a public research university in Paris, France. It is classified as both a grande école and grand établissement. The institute has campuses in various cities including Dijon, Le Havre, Menton, Nancy, Poitiers, and Reims, each offering academic programs focused on different parts of the world. Initially specializing in political science and history, Sciences Po gradually expanded its curriculum to include economics, law, and sociology. It is the only Institute of Political Sciences in France that can use the name "Sciences Po" without specifying the city where its headquarters are located, according to a legal agreement with other institutes. However, when referring to specific campuses, they must include the city name, such as "Sciences Po Lille" or "Sciences Po Grenoble". Sciences Po Paris is a member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) and CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences.
