Memorial University of Newfoundland, also known as Memorial University or MUN, is a public research university located in St. John's. It has satellite campuses in Corner Brook, elsewhere in Newfoundland and in Labrador, Saint Pierre, and Harlow, England. Established in September 1925, Memorial University serves as a living memorial to the individuals from Newfoundland and Labrador who lost their lives in the First World War.
