Dalhousie University, commonly known as Dal, is a public research university located in Nova Scotia, Canada. It has multiple campuses in Halifax and a medical school campus in Saint John, New Brunswick. Dalhousie offers a wide range of courses and degree programs in various faculties. The university is part of the U15, a group of research-intensive universities in Canada. Dalhousie University has two student unions representing student interests. The varsity teams, known as the Tigers, compete in the Atlantic University Sport conference. The Faculty of Agriculture varsity teams are called the Dalhousie Rams and compete in the ACAA and CCAA.
