About University
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is located in the vibrant city of Brisbane, Australia. It has two campuses, Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove, both situated in the Brisbane area. QUT was established in 1989 when the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) became a university through the Queensland University of Technology Act 1988. The university started its operations in January 1989 and later merged with the Brisbane College of Advanced Education in 1990.
