Flinders University is a public research university located in Adelaide, South Australia. It was established in 1966 and is named after British navigator Matthew Flinders. The main campus is situated at Bedford Park in Adelaide's south, spanning 156 acres of gardens and native bushland. The university has additional campuses in Tonsley, Adelaide Central Business District, Renmark, Alice Springs, and Darwin.
